Vivo X300: Global Colours and Versions Leak Ahead of Launch

Vivo is gearing up to take its hotly anticipated X300 series worldwide. After a well-received debut in China, the global unveiling is now set for 30 October. These two handsets, the X300 and X300 Pro, are the brand’s first to be powered by MediaTek’s new Dimensity 9500 chip.

While Vivo is still keeping the details of the launch under wraps, leaker Paras Guglani has just revealed the colour and storage options lined up for the global market.

The configurations planned for the global market

According to the information shared by the leaker, the standard Vivo X300 will be available in four distinct shades: Halo Pink, Iris Purple, Mist Blue and Phantom Black.

On the storage front, global versions will top out at 16 GB of RAM and 512 GB of space. As a result, the 1 TB model currently sold in China is unfortunately not expected to be offered internationally.

The Vivo X300 Pro, for its part, will also get four finishes: Mist Blue, Phantom Black, Cloud White and Dune Brown. Just like the standard model, it too will be capped at a maximum of 512 GB of storage.

The leaker also points out that colour availability will vary from region to region. In Australia, for instance, the X300 Pro is said to be sold only in black and brown, while the standard X300 is tipped to get an exclusive red finish there.

As a reminder, both phones are seriously impressive, but they follow different philosophies.

The X300 Pro is the more premium of the two. It sports a large 6.78-inch LTPO AMOLED display (1-120Hz). It’s a photography monster, fitted with a 50 MP Sony main sensor and, above all, a 200 MP periscope telephoto. Inside sits a 6,510 mAh battery with 90W wired and 40W wireless charging.

The standard X300 is more compact, with a 6.31-inch panel. It stakes everything on its 200 MP Zeiss Super Main Camera, backed by a 50 MP 3x APO telephoto. Its battery remains very generous at 6,040 mAh (90W wired charging).

All in all, there’s very little mystery left ahead of the official unveiling on 30 October. Thanks to these leaks, we know Vivo will offer a broad colour palette for its two new flagships. The one disappointment is the likely absence of the 1 TB version in Europe. Now all that’s left is to wait for pricing confirmation for the global market.
