iQOO 15 Ultra: The Gaming Monster Is Heading Worldwide

The wait is almost over for fans of extreme performance. While Vivo is getting ready to unveil the iQOO 16 in China as autumn approaches, the brand hasn’t forgotten the rest of the world. Launched in China last February, the seriously impressive iQOO 15 Ultra has just cleared a major hurdle by picking up its European EEC certification, paving the way for an imminent international release.

Built for e-sport: active fan and touch triggers

The iQOO 15 Ultra sets itself clearly apart from traditional flagships with hardware aimed squarely at demanding gamers. It packs an active cooling system with a fan built into the chassis, along with capacitive shoulder triggers for controller-grade handling.

Under the bonnet, the iQOO 15 Ultra runs the flagship Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 5, paired with up to 16 GB of LPDDR5X Ultra RAM and 1 TB of UFS 4.1 storage.

Battery life is handled by an impressive 7,400 mAh silicon-carbon cell, which supports 100W wired Fast Charging and 40W wireless charging.

Elite photography and a fully loaded spec sheet

Unlike other gaming-focused phones that skimp on the cameras, the iQOO 15 Ultra keeps a versatile high-end setup:

• Main sensor: 50 MP (Sony IMX921) with optical stabilisation (OIS).
• Periscope telephoto: 50 MP with 3x optical zoom and OIS.
• Ultra-wide: 50 MP.
• Selfie camera: 32 MP on the front.

The phone runs Android 16 with the OriginOS 6 skin on top. It also features an ultrasonic in-display fingerprint sensor, dual IP68/IP69 water resistance certification, stereo speakers, NFC and an infrared blaster.

Price and availability

Sold in China from 5,699 yuan (around $840 before tax), the iQOO 15 Ultra has now surfaced under model numbers V2546A and I2603 in the European EEC database, confirming that a global rollout is being prepared.
